Durango High School students were greeted Wednesday morning with important reminders about testing, summer opportunities, and campus activities.
Attention juniors: CMAS Science testing will take place on Tuesday, April 7 at 8:25 a.m. sharp. This is a great opportunity to prepare for the SAT the following week. Students should bring a fully charged Chromebook and report to their assigned testing room by 8:20 a.m. Be sure to check the posted rosters in the ELA hallway and commons for your room assignment.
Students looking for summer opportunities are encouraged to check out the Southwest Conservation Corps, which is hiring for conservation-based summer jobs. Interested students can attend an informational meeting in Mr. Brink’s room 2040 tomorrow during lunch to learn more.
Students interested in military careers can meet with a U.S. Army representative today at 1:00 p.m. in the Counseling Office to explore available opportunities and ask questions.
A reminder for prom attendees: Out-of-School Guest and Underclassmen Forms are available in the commons and must be fully completed and turned into the front office by Friday, April 3. Late submissions will not be accepted.
In club news, Knowledge Bowl will meet today during enrichment in Mrs. Skarbek’s room 2025.
Students are encouraged to stay organized, meet deadlines, and take advantage of the many opportunities available at DHS.
