Durango High School students were welcomed Thursday with reminders about upcoming college visits, prom details, and club activities.
Students interested in continuing their education can meet with an Admissions Representative from Northern Arizona University in the library on Friday, April 10, from 2:00–2:45 p.m. This is a great opportunity to learn more about programs, campus life, and admissions.
Prom season continues, and tickets are currently on sale for seniors at the student store during lunch and after school. Juniors will be able to purchase tickets beginning April 13, and guest ticket sales will open on April 20.
In club news, DHS’s writing club, the Purgatory Pen Project, meets today during lunch in Room 2014. Students are encouraged to join and collaborate with fellow writers while exploring their creativity.
Students should also note that Pickleball Club will not meet tomorrow, April 10, due to a JV tennis match, and will resume next week.
Students are encouraged to stay involved and take advantage of the opportunities happening around campus.
