Durango High School students were updated Thursday with a full lineup of athletic events and club activities happening this week.

Athletics Update:
There’s a busy weekend ahead for Demon athletics. At DHS, the boys baseball team will take on Fruita Friday and Saturday, while the girls soccer team faces Montrose on Friday. Saturday will also feature women’s club volleyball and a large co-ed track meet.

On the road, the boys lacrosse team will play Friday at Escalante Middle School, while girls varsity tennis competes at the Hornet Invitational, and girls varsity lacrosse travels to Eaglecrest.

In club news, the Purgatory Pen Project meets today during lunch in Room 2014, offering students a chance to collaborate and grow as writers. Looking ahead, Pickleball Club will meet on the tennis courts Friday during lunch—so grab a paddle and join in.

Students are encouraged to come out, support their teams, and stay involved in campus activities.
