Durango High School students were greeted with updates on prom, club meetings, and a celebration of a standout Demon.

Prom season is in full swing, and tickets are now available for both juniors and seniors in the commons during lunch and after school. Approved guests will be able to purchase tickets starting April 21, and the final day to buy a prom ticket is Wednesday, April 22. Students are encouraged to plan ahead and secure their tickets before the deadline.

In club news, several groups are meeting today during lunch. Focus meets in Ms. Woods’ room, Knowledge Bowl meets in Mrs. Skarbek’s room 2025 for trivia practice, and Tiny Tale Tellers meets in Ms. Hayden’s room W2123, where students can collaborate on writing children’s books for the community.

Today’s Demon of the Day is Evie Glick, recognized for her supportive actions in the classroom. Nominated by Ms. Phelps, Evie took the time to help a peer edit and revise a research essay, offering thoughtful and targeted feedback. Her willingness to support others reflects the true spirit of the Demon Way.
