Durango High School students kicked off the week with important reminders about testing, prom, and student activities.
Attention juniors: CMAS Science testing is scheduled for tomorrow, April 7 at 8:25 a.m. sharp. Be sure to bring a fully charged Chromebook and check the rosters posted in the ELA hallway and commons for your testing room assignment.
Prom season is underway, and tickets for seniors are available starting today on Minga or at the student store during lunch and after school. Juniors will be able to purchase tickets beginning April 13, and guest ticket sales will open on April 20.
Students eligible for National Honor Society are reminded to check their email for application details. Applications are due Tuesday, April 7. See Mr. Travis with any questions.
In club and activity news, DHS Girls Wrestling is hosting offseason strength and conditioning on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00–5:00 p.m. in the weight room, open to all DHS female students. Several clubs are meeting today during lunch, including Focus in Ms. Woods’ room, Knowledge Bowl in Mrs. Skarbek’s room 2025, and Tiny Tale Tellers in Ms. Hayden’s room W2123, where students can help create children’s books for the community.
NHS members should also remember there will be a mandatory meeting tomorrow, April 7, at the beginning of lunch in the library.
