Students at DHS have mixed reactions regarding finals. Some students are confident and ready to crush their test, while others are less sure. Most students are cramming and studying for all their big tests and assignments.
Asael Jimenez feels mostly prepared for his finals. He prepares by reviewing notes and taking time to study.
Mica Downing, a freshman, doesn’t feel too confident. He studies by looking at his notes and asking his teachers questions.
Next, Lettie Holley and Esme McManus are feeling stressed as finals approach quickly. Lettie is trying to study ahead of time, and Esme is waiting till it gets a little bit closer to finals.
Jackson Fisher is nervous, but he has been studying his notes, creating notecards, and watching YouTube videos on topics he’s unclear about to do well on his finals.
Jett Mazenko is not preparing beforehand. He’s going into finals confident in his current knowledge.
Lastani Long’s favorite way of studying is going to a cafe and doing all of her work there. She’s feeling mostly prepared for her finals.
Lastly, Isaiah Lyons. Isaiah feels confident in all of his upcoming tests. He’s not preparing beforehand, but is ready to crush his finals.
Each person handles finals differently. It’s important to do what works best for you. After interviewing people, the most common way to study is to review notes and take the time to thoroughly examine the material, a great way to study. Good Luck with all your finals!
