The community listens to other students talking about their rights from black lives matter to LGBTQ+ rights at Buckley Park on October the 15th. The protest was held to allow flags to be put back in classrooms and to say that students' identity isn’t political.

DHS students hung their posters to better prepare and inform themselves, staff, and other students about the issues before the vote next week. Students chose an initiative or referendum from the Colorado State ballot to create an informative, unbiased poster presenting the ballot issues for other students and staff to learn from their research.

DHS cafeteria workers on Monday the 14th of October create lunches for 350 students who need lunch when they get out of class. This means that all of those students rely on this staff to give them a nutritious lunch that they enjoy, and if there isn’t enough money to make the meals students won’t eat.
