Avery Clair has been nominated for Athlete of the Week! It means a lot to her, and she’s so glad to see her hard work paid off. As our own first baseman on varsity softball, she actually hit 3 home runs in a home match on the 6th of October! Go Avery! She always loves looking up to her own mom, as she was a D1 softball player back then in college!

 She loves encouraging her teammates both on and off the field and making sure she’s the best role model. Avery strives to make sure everyone has a clear-minded attitude when playing and when it comes to playing, and wants people who are up-and-coming to keep theirs up too!! 

Avery wants everyone to make sure you stay focused on school before sports, as that’s your gateway to continue playing sports, but of course you’d always want to get practice in beforehand. Avery likes to practice just before a big game so she knows she’s ready to give it her all. El Diablo is so happy to have you as Athlete of the Week, Avery Clair!
