StuCo Demon Discussions: Homecoming Hype Week!
Hey DHS! The Demon Discussions team is back — and this week, it’s bigger than ever! Your co-broadcasting directors Millie and Kara are joined by Olivia and Marley for a special Homecoming edition packed with spirit, events, and Demon pride.
Here’s what to look forward to this week:
Homecoming Week kicks off Monday, October 13th!
- Monday: Rev Your Engines — PJ Day! + Homecoming Parade after school (4–7 PM)
- Tuesday: Pit Crew Partners — Twin Day! + Three-Legged Race at lunch + Cars Movie Night at 6 PM
- Wednesday: New Wheels Wednesday — Anything But a Backpack Day! + Trivia with Knowledge Bowl + Machoman Volleyball at 6:30 PM
- Thursday: Ready, Set, Go Demons! — Color Wars! + Sunglass decorating at lunch + Powderpuff Football at 6:30 PM
- Friday: Fast & Furious Friday — Racewear or Red Sea gear! + Tailgate at 4:15 PM + Homecoming Football Game at 6 PM — theme: Friday Night Lights: And Away We Go!
Saturday: Homecoming Dance 7–10 PM right here at DHS — dress up, dance, and celebrate the end of an amazing week!
Pit Stop Points Competition:
Earn points for your class by showing up to Homecoming events and dress-up days! The class with the most points wins a donut party — and individual participants with over 100 points will be entered to win a free Red Sea hoodie!
Sports Shoutouts:
DHS teams are killing it this season — from football and volleyball to golf, cross country, softball, and soccer! Keep showing up, cheering loud, and repping that Demon pride.
Band Showcase:
Saturday, October 11th @ 9:30 AM — come out and support our incredible DHS band for their double performance!
Homecoming Tickets:
On sale all week in the commons during lunch and after school — don’t wait ‘til the last minute!
